I am a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I have been in North Carolina for over 20 years, and am grateful to call it home. I have a son in grad school, a son in undergrad, and a daughter in high school. I understand the stressors these kids are facing and the expectations they are managing. At this age, I have found great success in having someone OTHER than a parent take the time to speak encouragement into their anxiety and bring clarity to their confusion. As a career woman in middle age, I also see the challenges all of us are facing in the current economy and workplace. I'm here to listen and help where I can. I believe in the village and I would love to be a part of yours.
